CADPen – Projects & Use Cases
The CADPen allows you to capture vehicle contours and film patterns as clean DXF templates. Contours can be traced directly on the vehicle or on a removed pattern film and then transferred to CAD software or a cutting plotter. This creates reusable templates for vehicle wraps, stickers, and fleet graphics.
The CADPen allows you to digitize existing machine knives and punching tools as native CAD geometry. Lines, arcs, and splines are captured, opened as DXF in the CAD system, and used as a basis for new tool variants or spare parts.
The CADPen can be used to capture important chassis and frame geometries on racing motorcycles—for example, wheelbase, steering head angle, swingarm length, and other reference points. The exported DXF sketch serves as the basis for CAD, chassis, or kinematic analyses.
